Precious Stones The College Tour was Silk Road Theatre Project's first ever touring production, establishing a national profile for the company. Between July 2003—April 2005, Jamil Khoury's acclaimed play was performed at 16 colleges, universities, academic conferences, and churches in 10 cities across the US. Heralded for its artistic and pedagogical value, the play's exploration of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the contours of a lesbian relationship, incited dialogue, discourse, and debate among diverse audiences.
