Pangs of the Messiah Issue Available Online
The second issue of Silk Road Sojourns: The Magazine is now
available online, featuring articles related to our upcoming production of Pangs of the Messiah, a breathtakingly powerful play by
Israeli playwright Motti Lerner. The issue features the articles
"Dramatizing
the spectre of Jewish civil war unleashes pangs of my own," "Pangs of the Messiah & The Emerging Israeli Theatre Movement," "From the
Desk of
the Literary Manager," "About Motti Lerner," and "The Road to Pangs of the Messiah." Silk Road Sojourns: The TV Show will feature a five
episode mini-series about Pangs of the Messiah that will be broadcast on CAN-TV and will be available at www.srtp.org/sojourns in the coming weeks.

Management, Advancement Positions Available
Silk Road Theatre Project is
seeking to fill two part-time positions through its ongoing partnership with the Kemper Fellows program. The fellowships are ideal for third or
fourth
year undergraduate students, and will report directly to Executive Director Malik Gillani or Director of Advancement Kyle Gorden. Duties may
include: drafting grant proposals, evaluating marketing and donor-relations strategies, facilitating press events, drafting budgets,
deepening
relationships with the surrounding community, and facilitating board events. Ongoing duties include: answering phone calls, filing, updating
databases, conducting internet research on prospective foundations, corporations, and key individuals, managing mailings, and general office
duties.
